AIDS in Africa
In the article “aid in Africa” it gives us a background on aid and the effects of it. Aids are the biggest sexually transmitted disease on this earth and it affects millions of people everyday. When this article talks about what can be done to stop the spread of aids and the little precautions we can take to stop this virus. Simple things such as better sanitation, living conditions, better nutrition can stop the effectiveness of the aids virus. Aids are most common in Africa and sub-Saharan countries because there is poor sanitation and poor living conditions. It’s hard for women to stop getting these diseases because they are using there bodies to provide for there children and it easily spread that way. The aids virus is more active in poverty areas because they can afford proper protection for safer sex and proper sanitary measures. Aids are everywhere and all over the world and if we don’t take drastic measures to help promote safer sex and better sanitation I’ll be worse than the black plague.
