Who’s Culture Is It, Anyways?
This passage about culture is kind of in many places. This article blah blah’ed on about nothing. To summarize it talked about America and its culture and guys who wrote about stuff and what America is doing about there culture. There are a lot of things America can do to be not stereo typed as a standard Anglo-American man. America in my eyes has no culture and probably never will. Our country is sonly based on other cultures from other countries. If you want to really take I back the American culture is what ever the native American culture is. American is only a couple hundred years old and it is based off of other people cultures, the immigrants that founded our nation. American should have equal right for everyone. This article bored me and didn’t make to much sense to me, so if my article doesn’t make sense to you it’s like reading the article again.

i agree with you the article really didn’t make sense and was really tough to write about
i think there are many practices in america i dont think there is just one practice though so you are kinda right in a way!!!
Yeah I definitely agree the article was boring and hard to follow. It seemed to be all over the place at explaining American culture and explaining American culture in 2 pages is a pretty weak effort. I agree with your statement that American culture is a mix of every culture in the world which makes it a unique culture. I also have to agree that the Anglo-Saxon culture doesn’t describe today’s culture in the United States. The millions of people immigrating here from all over the world brought their own cultures with them a few hundred years ago and over time these cultures have adapted and mixed together to form American culture so trying to figure out whose culture is responsible for the American culture is impossible and a waste of time.
First and foremost, the article bored me too. It made almost no sense at all. The idea that America has its own culture angers me because as you stated, the “American culture” is a recipe of many nationalities. How can someone deem that as a single culture when several ethnicities play a role in the melting pot?
I agree, the article used a bunch of confusing words crumbled up to explain American culture and what makes up it and what doesn’. Without crediting other nations America would be no where so for someone to want a single culture nation, great, have fun with a dying nation. It almost makes you laugh how egoistic and ethnocentric people can get.
